The Board of Directors has discussed the pros and cons of instituting a club mandatory
neckguard rule. Although we support the use of neckguards, and will ask the coaches to
promote their use, we decided not to make it a club rule at this time.
There has been discussion at USA Hockey regarding the mandatory use of neckguards, and
we will lobby the Lakeshore Hockey League to look at making them mandatory in our league
for the future.
